For a shoe with a basic design that is almost as old as Kobe Bryant, the Nike Air Force 1 Mid does hold up pretty well, but compared to hoops shoes released in the past few years it clearly shows its age.

To sum up, I still can't figure out why Rasheed Wallace has been wearing the Nike Air Force 1s all this time (although there are plenty of things that are mystifying about Rasheed) nor can I say that I understand why the Air Force 1 has remained so popular through all these years.
