As Elections BC was unable to attend the scheduled meetings, it submitted an update to the Committee in a letter dated June 28, 2002.
Because new Statutes are expected to come into force on 1 January 2002 new elections have to be held to Academic Council.
Federation elections will be held on 19 and 20 February 2002 when the procedures agreed at the special conferences reported elsewhere come into effect.
