NFL GameDay 2003 is a slight step up from NFL GameDay 2002, but it is far from challenging games such as NFL 2K3 and Madden NFL 2003 in terms of realism and quality.
Although I regard Madden NFL 2003 as the best NFL game I have played to date, I should mention that Sega's NFL 2K3 has made up a lot of ground this year.
NFL 2K3 is a worthy competitor to Madden 2003, but has too many little flaws to lay claim to the NFL crown.
