There are literally thousands of miles of private logging roads, which can range from accessible by all vehicles to grown over roads accessible by 4x4 or simply roads which are impassable by any vehicle.
Connecting the main roads traversing Lesotho are byways that make for superb off-road driving, strictly for 4x4s and preferably in at least a two-vehicle convoy.
The roads up the back of the Lake where almost totally devoid of other overlanders with even most 4x4 drivers choosing to avoid the route.
