Four weeks ago, I lifted a heavy box, and my back became extremely sore, just after lifting. The next day I fell on a wet flour. Since then I have been having this pain just below my kidneys (I think), extreme pain on the left side into my buttock and sometimes my upper leg. When I sit and have to get up, it takes me several minutes just to get to an upright position before I can start walking and I have to walk in a bent position, till it feels better before I can walk straight. I have been on pain stillers since then. For the last year the doctor put me on waterpills, and since drinking the pain stillers, I stopped taking the waterpills. Can you please tell me what is wrong?
