Often integrating classroom instruction with work-based learning, academies try to equip students with the necessary skills for both workforce entry and postsecondary admission.
To further support the work in the WSIP, the Academies are broken down into Small Learning Communities (SLCs), which are teams of teachers who share common planning time and work in collaboration to implement Madison Park's best teaching practices.

Academies In these short courses teachers learn a variety of hands-on, minds-on science lessons and discover how to use innovative activities to involve students in science learning.
