The grants given to the Junior Achievements of Western Connecticut and Southwest Connecticut support programs that teach financial literacy and workforce readiness to help students in grades K-12 become business leaders.
Junior Achievement of Rochester and the Rochester Business Journal created this program in 2001 to recognize exemplary leaders who have made outstanding and enduring contributions to business and community in the Greater Rochester region.
Junior Achievement has several highly effective programs for Middle Grade and junior high school students that reinforce the value of education and teach students about the future economic benefits of staying in school.
