In 1998, the nationally standardized Stanford 9 Achievement Test was used in grades 2-11, along with SAT Tests and the Advanced Placement Examinations.
The API was calculated using the results of the Stanford 9 Achievement Test, which is given annually to all students in grades 2-11.
