My wife was attacked and bit by a dog while walking on a public street with a friend in Downey, CA 90240 on August 13, 2004. Police and animal control authorities investigated (Dog's owner found liable). She received emergency and subsequent medical treatment covered by our insurance but we had to pay co-payments. Contacted dog's owner through his 14 year old son by phone but owner refuses to return call. I sent him a certified letter request last Saturday but still have not heard from him. What do you suggest ? Your advise will be greatly appreciated. Sincerely Mike Koutroubas e-mail nmakhs@aol.com
