We just moved into a new home and it has 4 carrier hvac units. One of the unit, black coils the netting inside the outside grill are pushed in some areas. The builder told us that this does not affect the operation of the unit and they tried to comb it straight, but it was too pushed in to be combed straight. Do we have to worry about this. They said that they won't replace it and that we have 5 yr. warranty, if it gives us problems they will fix it. We really want a new unit but they won't do it. Please advise. Thanks so much! |

How do you light the pilot light on Carrier furnace ('92) if it says not to relight? It worked a couple of weeks ago, we turned it off for warmer weather, and now there are no flames? |

I am getting the code 24 "secondary voltage fuse is open" Like someone above. I pulled the 3 amp fuse and it is bad. I will replace this. I shut the breaker off at the wall before pulling panels off the Carrier. Is this ok? Do I need to do anything with the gas before restart? |
