This is a project with which I am involved, the purpose of which is to extend the Freeciv project (a game similar to Sid Meier's Civilization) to include extra features that were introduced by Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.
I would only recommend this game if you have, and have played through all of the previous Civilization titles and just have to have more, otherwise I would advise you to go out and pick up a copy of Civilization II: Gold Edition, or maybe Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, though that's a bit of a different experience.
Multiple star systems are not indicated as such: although Alpha and Proxima Centauri appear in the same hex they are 0.

Designed by Alpha Control and the United States government, the Jupiter mission was initiated to give new hope to the ailing planet Earth and its exponentially increasing number of residents by establishing a colony on one of the planets in the Alpha Centauri star system.
The brighter stars are designated by the constellation in which they appear and are ranked by Greek letters, generally according to their relative brightness; Alpha Centauri is the brightest star in the constellation Centaurus, Beta Centauri is the next brightest, and so on.
Alpha Centauri (A and B) appear to have planets orbiting them; Alpha Cen A has one that appears more habitable than Mars.

Alpha Centauri is a triple star system, meaning it is likely to be the highly rare result of three single solar systems colliding and orbiting around each other in a wild whirl.
Since Alpha Centauri is only about 2) What are the three types of solar Jupiter Co-ordinator 4.
Alpha Centauri is actually a system of 3 stars, one of which is just like the Sun, and the other two are smaller than the Sun.
