" Evidently the founders were most impressed with the organization and growth of Alpha Kappa Psi and Delta Sigma Pi, which limited their membership to students in the Schools of Commerce of the universities where their chapters were placed, and decided to emulate them.
Her outstanding work as a graduate student earned her membership in the Omicron Delta Kappa honor society for leadership and the Pi Sigma Alpha political-science honor society.
