Dinosaur habitats were probably as diverse as the animals themselves -- from lowland forests of cycads and conifers, to aquatic, littoral, marine and arid deserts.

Animals used for food were usually acquired in habitats within a few kilometers of the sites in which they were found, although items such as dried fish could be traded some distance inland.

All natural habitats are already under immense pressure from all quarters and one would hope that the legions of people searching for herps would take the time to enjoy what they are doing and not be in a rush to destroy the homes of even the very animals they seek.
