My Children found two Kittens approx 6 weeks old under our pool liner. No mother in sight for two days. The Kittens were crying all night and day. We finally cut the pool liner and got them out. They were cold, wet and dirty. Where can I take them to be checked over and neutered should I decide to keep them. I am a single mom and simply cannot afford to nueter two animals. PLEASE HELP |

I found an abandoned housecat, male RUSSIAN BLUE, 8 mo. old with flea collar. I have been putting up flyers in the Forest Hills area (69th Road and Metropolitan Ave.). He is at vet now for neuter and vaccin. I have 5 cats already and have TNRd 15 cats in our area. Should I need to bring him to North Shore for adoption, is there any restrictions or information I need know?
Thank you. |

I live in Randolph, NJ and we have our very own Dog Park in town. I know that you are helping with the crisis in Louisiana and Mississippi and I am going to put a flyer up at our dog park asking our pet owner's to donate to "Hurrican Katrina Rescue. I would like to know what steps are being taken to help the animals that are suffering also in this massive crisis. When something like this happens is there a plan in place that other shelters out of the affected areas can assist you in taking the pets? Also, what percentage of the donations directly go to help with this monumental task.
My email is cgannon12000@yahoo.com - good luck and God Bless....... |
