I'd also like to smack the people at the Hawthorne for not securing it better (like w/a mechanism that shoots and kills instantly anyone who dares to try and steal it), but I guess after 27 years of no one bothering it they didn't think they needed to do anything special.
I don't know anything about cameras/types of film but if I had to guess I'd say that a large part of this film was shot using hand held cameras with a very low resolution film.

There it was, in shocking colour, there were the colours of the Centre that I'd never really seen; the odd tourist brochures didn't mean anything to me, to me any thoughts of travel or adventure were to do with Europe.
It didn't seem as though that could be due to anything that I'd just done - my only thought was that the problem could have been present for a while, but since I don't usually brake like that I hadn't noticed it.

I'd painted a picture of an irresponsible woman who didn't want anything to do with her son - not a crazy woman who tried to drown her infant son because she saw Satan peering back at her when she gazed into his face.
If he went on to say that in fact, you didn't need anything but small trim brushes for painting houses, because you could always strap several brushes together if you needed to cover larger areas, then I'd begin to question whether he understood the concept of the right tool for the right job.
