Folk Music Archives may also forward requests for assistance to other appropriate institutions such as the Library of Congress, Smithsonian Folkways or other institutions for response.
Although the recorded material of Folk Music Archives may be part of the permanent collection of the Library of Congress, permission and possible fees may be required independent of the Library for broadcast and other permissible use.
