Why would my PA not put me on any cholesterol lowering meds when my stats are as follows: 48yo male, 20#s over weight, LDL=147, HDL=39, and total Cholesterol=243? Was on Zocor a long time ago, but hear they took it off the market. What do I do? Or will I be fine with those stats? |

The right side of my nose has a intermittent drip, clear in color, especially when I bend my head over or at night while sleeping. The dripping wakes me up it drips so much. I do not have any other signs of allergies, no sneezing, coughing, itchy eyes, etc. Only the right side drips. My questions are: What could be the cause? And if it is allergies, why only dripping on one side of my nose? What treatment shall I seek or does it need treatment? Thank you. Paula |

In my husbands left index finger,a bump has appeared inside of it about the size of a pea. It's closest to where the 2nd knuckle bends, and it burns. It feels like it is floating around inside and is very uncomfortable. Any ideas as to what it could be ?? |

I recently had to photograph an autopsy. The body got goosebumps when they removed its clothes. Is this normal? And how can the skin know its cold. I thought the reason for goosebumps was a way of warming the skin. |
