I lived in Compton, California, Home Owners Association--Stratford Park-Townhouses Association. My garage door has been broken since March 2004, I have contacted the Association several times (March, August, September and October) regarding this issue. The door needs to be replaced with a new door, however, I need approval from the Board. I have asked the Board for approval to replace the 400lbs. wooden door with a lighter aluminum door same color as old one, of course this would be at my expense and that is not a problem. Todate, I am still waiting on a response, this door is causing health problems for me such as back and risk problems. Please tell me what I can do to get the Association to respond.

Is there a code or homeowners association law that says a renter can NOT have security camara's in their own garage or faceing outdoors in the area their own children are playing in? This would be in the Sacramento, California area.
Got a question? Got an answer? Let's hear it!
