AUSTIN - On Monday March 21st the Texas Senate unanimously passed a bill that would save the state's undocumented students thousands of dollars a year by making them eligable for residential college tuition rates.

Ellen Wartella, dean of the College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin, has announced that the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board approved a request to change the department of journalism to the School of Journalism.
