GERBER: Threatening Guatemala In a little-noticed victory for Gerber Products Company and other multinational corporations seeking to upend national health and safety laws as barriers to international trade, the Supreme Court in Guatemala earlier this year exempted imported baby food products from the country's tough infant health law.
Guatemala was forced to choose between maintaining the UNICEF baby formula policy that has saved thousands of childrens lives or facing an expensive defense in a WTO tribunal and then possible trade sanctions for not protecting the trademark rights of US baby food manufacturer Gerber, whose label violates the UNICEF code.

If you don't have mynah pellets, another choice of food is to mix up some cooked brown rice, baby food oatmeal (such as Gerber's that comes in a jar), applesauce and boiled egg.
