If they suddenly started clubbing baby seals and kicking homeless kids it would make more sense.
That is why their public awareness campaigns are heavily laced with pictures of hunters brutally clubbing baby seals to death, or of vast acres of tropical rainforests in flames.

We saw penguins and a colony of seals where the babies were playing in small protected pools and their mothers were yelling at them and the dads were grunting.
I am grateful that I saw baby seals and their mothers on the beach this year in California.
