The Game Boy Player, a one-inch platform connecting to the bottom of the Nintendo GameCube, will match the Nintendo GameCube footprint and allow players to use either their console controller or Game Boy Advance to direct action on screen.
The game is currently available for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance.
With the Game Boy or Game Boy Advance game cartridge inserted in the Game Boy Player, a regular Nintendo GameCube controller or WaveBird wireless controller can direct the action.

GameCube Game Boy Player Details Reported by: Pat Mulhern Nintendo of Japan has announced new information about the upcoming GameCube Game Boy Player.
The back light was criticised by Nintendo fans since it is the reason that the Game Gear can only run off batteries for about 2 hours where as the Game Boy requires only four AA batteries for 6 hours of game play.
