Doing 2003 taxes using TaxCut Software I did our taxed filed jointly and seperately. When filing MFS I get back quite a lump some but my wife end's up owing 1800 to FED. We both claim zero on Fed/State at work. Not sure why she's still comming-up about 4% short on FED?? Income $46,515.14 and they took out $5,062.03 in Fed tax. She dosen't contribute to a 401K plan at this time. Any idea with her claiming zero why she's still about $1800 dollars short on FED tax???
