During the week there is a course in basic ethics, Buddhist history, further an introduction into the philosophy of Buddhism, Buddhist rituals and prayers and for those who are interested, Tibetan history and language are taught.
Buddhism: History, Philosophy and Practice by Pjthorogood : An easily understood, non-sectarian overview of the history, philosophy, culture and practice of Buddhism together with a Buddhist bookshop for further study.
The selections are intended to present a representative sampling of early texts that contain central doctrines or that recount important events in the history of Buddhism, along with statements by Buddhist thinkers of later times that represent influential developments in Buddhist thought and practice.
