Algebra, Pre-Calculus and Calculus Assistant A powerful tool for teaching and learning math for MAC and Windows Mathpert focuses on learning mathematics by helping the student to work through problems successfully.
Tests were added to the modules described as pre-Calculus Mathwise modules and a further set of tests augmented those Calculus modules which did not already have end-of-module tests.

Pre-Calculus would cover areas such as advanced algebra skills, use and definition of functions, dealing with systems of equations and, if time permits, limits and other calculus topics.
At the pre-calculus level the calculators have been used to aid the acquiring of techniques for solution of equations, whilst in a first calculus course ways of developing better understanding of differentiation and integration have been studied.
