I was arrested for discharging a firearm in the city limits,since i am disabled I could not perform community service and was just given a 20 day sentence and fine as well as having to turn in all of my guns including valuble and sentimental weapons as well to be destroyed by the state of California and three years probation from owning any firearms. I was also told by the police department that this misdemeaner conviction, would not alow me to own any firearms for ten years by the Dept. of Justice in this state . Is information correct and what can I do about this situation.
