A civil service appointee of the National Labor Relations Board who conducts unfair labor practice hearings in the region where such cases originate.
Civil Cases - A fee equal to the actual cost of providing court reporting services is charged for one-half day of services to the parties on a prorata basis, on the first and each succeeding judical day though services are required.
All civil cases are maintained at the Daley Center except for District Municipal cases that are located at the districts It is anticipated that the Law Division cases will eventually be heard at the various districts in the very near future.

Juries in civil cases shall consist of 6 persons unless the court shall order a jury of 12 persons for good cause shown.
In most civil cases, decisions that juries make in contradiction to the rules laid out by the law and the court can and will be overturned by the judge or the appeals process.
These limits are too complex to describe here but basically the vast majority of the ordinary civil and criminal cases cannot be tried in federal courts.
