Humane Education Conferences Are a Big Success First Conference Held In January 1998, CHAI and the Ministry of Education sponsored the first Humane Education Conference ever held in Israel at the Community Center in Lod, near the airport.
Center Governance Graduate students are invited to participate in the Center for Gender Studies’s Student Caucus, as well as all Center committees, conferences and events planning.

The Center assisted the Judicial Conference's Advisory Committee on the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure with a different type of challenge.
The conference center is contemplated to be funded by a combination of grants, a Tax Increment Financing district, and a portion of the hotel/motel occupancy tax.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research will hold a Conference on Health and Disability in September 2002.

Some RuCCS Activities Relevant to Research Training Sponsorship of Conferences and Workshops Over the past 3 years of the Center's existence it has sponsored a number of events designed to maintain contact with the international research community and to provide graduate students with an international perspective on research.
The Ashbrook Center sponsors the Ashbrook Scholar program , hosts a series of campus lectures and conferences , publishes scholarly monographs and books and provides internship opportunities for students interested in careers related to public affairs.
In addition, the Center offers a series of undergraduate research workshops as well as grants to student groups for conferences and other student organized projects.
