There were several outstanding individual performances by local swimmers at the recently concluded OECS Swimming Championships at the Rodney Heights Aquatic Centre.
She was the downhill silver medalist at the 1974 World championships, and placed 12 times in the top tem in World Cup races including two slalom gold medals.

PGA Championships, was the Sectional Champion in Northern Ohio and Western New York and won the National PGA Match Play Championship.
Championships were to be won at every club he commanded, at Northampton, at Leeds City before its dissolution in 1919, at Huddersfield Town and, most spectacularly of all, at Arsenal.
The PGA championships of 1980 and 1983 were won by two rising stars of European Golf, Nick Faldo and Seve Ballesteros respectively.
