Attendance has been at record highs with the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships selling out the last five years in a row with a new attendance record of more than 90,000 tickets sold for the 2000 Championship.

NCAA Championships : Results from the 2002 NCAA Women's Division III Swimming and Diving Championships.
During the outdoor season the Patriots had athletes post NCAA provisionally qualifying marks in five events, while two athletes automatically qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in three events.
On this same weekend, the NCAA announced the final national standings and selected the top 8 teams in the nation to compete in the national championships being held at Murray State University in Kentucky.

After winning the Western Collegiate Hockey Association regular season and playoff championships last season, the team was upset by Michigan in the NCAA Tournament and fell one game shy of advancing to the Frozen Four.
The region is also a finalist for the 2004-07 NCAA Wrestling Championships, and intends to bid on the NCAA Frozen Four Hockey Championship for 2007, its next available year.
The Spalding TF 4000 continues to be the Official Volleyball of the NCAA Championships and the premier indoor volleyball.
