This championship, Par 72, Wes Burnham course has played host to the PGA Nike Tour and the second stage of the PGA TOUR qualifying school.
The PGA Tour stops off in nearby Ponte Vedra Beach for the Tournament Players Championships - one of the tour’s premier events.
It is also the home of the Mike Bencriscutto Junior Masters Match Play Championship ; a springboard for several current PGA tour players.

The tour now moves onto Wales for the Headworx Welsh BPSA Surfing Championships to be held at Langland Bay October 19th-20th.
Their 18th worldwide tour win came December 14 at the Australian PGA Seniors Golf Championship.
I am told that the PGA TOUR is looking at moving THE PLAYERS Championship to perhaps the first week of May starting in 03.
