My son and his girlfriend have a 3 month old child. They are not married and now they have separated but are in counseling. The child is covered on wick and has a medical card. My son's insurance will be able to pick up the child in 60 days. He wants to make sure he is supporting his child. He has been giving the mother $200 a month (he makes $7.00 an hr. How can we find out if this is enough support? Also how can we find out his rights? He is a very devoted father.

I make 10.00 an hour or 800.00 every two weeks before taxes and child support after these I get to keep 88.36. I need help, when I try to tell the judge I don't make enough money to pay this amount he said to get two or three jobs if I have to but I better pay it. I am in arrears also because of the high amount expected. I average paying 800.00-850.00 a month instead of the 1000.00 ordered. I am only paying on 3 children. I am lost for an answer.
Got a question? Got an answer? Let's hear it!
