The 1958 merger with the United Presbyterian Church of North America resulted in the dissolution of that denomination's Presbytery of Boston and some minor boundary changes in Southern New England.

Today there are private churches such as the Baptist church, practicing baptism by immersion, and the Presbyterian church, practicing the government of the church through the presbytery.
The church considers the repudiation of those covenants to be a sin, to be repented of and corrected, and Reformed Presbyterians will only support candidates for political office who promise to work for such a national recognition of the authority of Christ.
The Presbyterian Reformed Church believes the Bible to be the inspired word of God and the only foundation for how we are to serve God and live our lives as Christians.

Kobe Theological Hall was established in 1996 under the oversight of the Japan Presbytery of the RPCNA to equip Japanese ministerial candidates as well as church officers by training them in solid biblical and Reformed Presbyterian theology.
He was ordained by Highlands Presbytery to serve the Buchanan Presbyterian Church (Buchanan, Virginia) and participated in the reorganization of that presbytery into Abingdon and Fincastle Presbyteries.
