Department of Justice has brought criminal civil rights actions against students attending institutions ranging from small liberal arts colleges in Massachusetts and Georgia to large state universities in Florida and California.
Colleges and universities all over the United States are dismantling affirmative action admissions policies , and court decisions such as the one released last week in Georgia are challenging those that attempt to continue to consider race in admissions decisions.
