What is the best method of allowing colored hair grow out to gray without having half of your head auburn and the top part gray. Since I can hardly keep up with the coloring both financially and scheduling, I am thinking about letting it go to the gray that it has been diligently coming faster than I can keep up. I don't want to walk around half and half and was thinking that I may as well get it frosted to mathc the top gray half and then let that grow in until it all gets to the natural gray shade that it is supposed to be. I am not certain of any other best method to do this or if that is the best solution. Expert solutions??????

I colored my daughters hair yesterday with natural instincts, not a permanent color and she wants it lighter. How long do I wait to re-color.

I recently colored my hair two days ago, i really hate it. I was looking to go darker but instead of just buying the basic color i purchased midnight auburn which was supposed to be a basic dark color among a simple reflection of auburn in the light.. well yeah my hair color stayed the same basically but in the sun it looks so terrible because it looks 20 colors. I want to know how less i can wait to re-dye it. I mean it looks horrible and all i want to do is dye it a basic dark brown/black.. i really didn't think that it would matter how short i waited since i am only going darker to eliminate red.
