I realize you are into coon dogs , however , after doing some reading ,I found that many hounds bred for coon hunting are also being used for coyote hunting.
I am getting out of coon hunting and would love for someone to show me the world of rabbit hunting.
He would give his all no matter if hunting squirrel, or coon, or even on the bench, he was awesome.

Rabbit, Coon, Cougar and Bear Hunting The sound of a beagle's bawl when it finds the scent of a rabbit will make any hunter's heart race.
Raccoons are nocturnal, so hunting is done at night, once a dog encounters a fresh coon trail, each hound has a distinctive bawl which the owner can identifie, then all the hounds will begin to bay as well.

Rick I'm 15 and just got into coon hunting I got two walker pups about seven weeks old and I was wondering when would be a good time to start training my dogs?
We did hunt him in the mountains just before that without much luck and Sniffer once treed 48 coons on a 4 day weekend hunting trip by himself so I don't think it was the dog.

Ryan I have been hunting coon for over 9 years and i have owned 11 GR CH dogs but i have been having a big problem with one of my 9 month old walker females and i can't seem to break her from it.
John I have been hunting for a long time for coon and I have a 3-year-old running walker dog and I was trying to train him for coon hunting and I was wondering if it is just impossible to train him because he is so old.
Does anyone know i can do to make him run it without us following him brandon i was wondering sense i live in maine if there were any coon hunting clubs around if you could give me some address that would be nice mike I have a redtick bluetick cross.
