Stresskin panels with urethane foam cores are excellent vapor barriers and moisture will not penetrate them, provided that the joints are properly sealed, so vent spaces are not needed for moisture control.
Tunnels are provided in the foam cores to route the servo cords and extensions through the wing to the center "Y" cords.
Vacuum bagging also allows foam, balsa and honeycomb cores to be bonded in place with minimal amounts of adhesive, once again saving time and costly materials while adding quality and integrity to the finished product.
