Also, the Orange County Public Schools , Seminole County Public Schools web sites are comprehensive resources for the local county school districts.
Orange County Public Schools has developed the Framework for Higher Achievement which serves as the district curriculum.

In each of the district's 140 schools, a teacher has been pulled out of the classroom to focus solely on educating teachers, said Wilfred Still, director of professional development in Orange County.
Letters were sent to all school districts throughout Jefferson, Orange and Hardin counties inviting 4th and 5th graders to enter the contest.
