MISSION STATEMENT The Mission of the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library is to provide dynamic library services to its patrons and to ensure that qualified and motivated personnel provide and maintain expertly selected resources which aid and encourage the pursuit of education, information, research and recreation in an inviting environment.
On January 1, 1983, the library was reorganized to serve the eight western townships of Howard County and the name was changed to the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library.
