The Ocean County Library provides patrons with access to the information on the Internet as part of its mission to provide a wide range of resources which serve the current and future informational, educational, and recreational needs of the county's population.
The Ocean County Library serves 510,916 residents through its 20 branches making it the largest public library system in the State of New Jersey.
Yet the unprecedented growth in Ocean County during the last two decades and the subsequent growth of the Library System itself have resulted in a scope and level of services that can no longer be accommodated in the present building.
