The Lucas County Board of Commissioners recently received some unexpected funds from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry, related to the forest industry.
In each situation, Lucas County Economic and Workforce Development teams are working with company managers, organized labor, and the State of Ohio Rapid Response network to coordinate and provide appropriate services to dislocated workers.
The Board of Lucas County Commissioners approved a contract today that will allow township residents to buy natural gas from a supplier that will offer cheaper rates than Columbia Gas of Ohio.
