Cricket is a team game played by two teams of 11 players each on a pitch 22 yards long with a wicket at each end to be defended by the batsman against a ball delivered by one of the opposing side, while the other members of this side endeavour to catch the ball when struck or missed by the batsman.
Pitches for cricket, rugby and other team games can all be provided, and we have 16 hard tennis courts.
This goes in accordance with other sports such as football, rugby and cricket where scaled down versions of the games have been developed to give younger players more chance of success and encourage them to stay involved in the games.
