Joyce then taught us a new piece of music, the Hunchback of Notre Dame trailer, and we obtained the experience of making a recording to a professionally taped instrumental soundtrack, and watching it played back as the full soundtrack to scenes from the original movie.

Johnson guided the Parish through the changes wrought by the Second Vatican Council and at a time when many Parishes were closing their schools, it was his vision and energy and that of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur that preserved ours.
Thus the Congregation of the Sisters of Notre Dame of Amersfoort came into being, independent in its internal government but having the same spirit and observing the same rules as the Sisters of Notre Dame of Namur.
