I have had symptoms for several weeks that continually worsen. They are slight nausea, balance problems, extreme weakness, tremors, headaches, and myoclonic seizures that have progressed all over my body. I've had several tests resulting in the finding of 2 1/2 times the normal volume of blood in my heart, Smaller than normal red blood cells, and several white spots on the brain indicatiing ruptured or non-functioning blood vessels. An EEG was normal. I am W/M 53 yrs. Any suggestions ?

Hi, Are there any other parents out there with a teacher insisting and diagnosing their child (mine is 7 yr old male) with ADD? His 1st grade teacher came up with this idea. She passed the news on to his 2nd grade teacher who has now included the reading teacher in on it these teachers are very close nit. I dont feel like my son has it. the only way i can find out is that these teachers fill out a form saying what all symptoms they feel he has, then the doctor reads it and makes his decision based soley on their opinion! I wish he has a chance to work with someone without pre-concieved notions and atr least have a chance her to be seen as normal. I have heard the school gets extra funding for certain programs if they recognize add in students and get them signed up on the freakin drugs they want them to have. someone please help, how can my son know and learn karate and dance routines every move every step and have ADD? (he is not hyperactive or being accused of being so) I can read him a book and ask him questions about the story and he can answer them all..teacher agrees with this too. I feel they are playing doctor and are jumping the gun and i dont understand why there isnt some form of testing besides a teachers opinion to diagnose a child. anyone who knows what a child WITH ADD "can't" do please let me know so i can try it..thank you...
