Terriers, like most dogs, are loving and loyal, but they add spice to life.
Consider helping the terriers at the Jack Russell Rescue often they are a little older and mellower and are tested for various situations by knowledgable dog handlers.

Terriers are "terra" or earth dogs originally bred to hunt rodents and other burrowing mammals.
Rat Terriers generally do get along very well with other animals and dogs, and being bred as a farm dog, most livestock too.
