A master of graphic storytelling, Carl Barks was responsible for anonymously writing and drawing the Walt Disney Donald Duck comic books between 1942 and 1966 and creating such classic characters as Gyro Gearloose.
As there is no book reproducing all Gottfredson paintings (like The Fine Art of Walt Disney's Donald Duck for Barks paintings), this catalog is the closest thing one can find.
He especially found room for that in the longer Donald Duck stories which originally appeared in Four Color comic books (they are now chronologically reproduced in the Barks Library: Donald Duck Adventures - Noted by the translator!
