To attach panels to each other a special connection and aperture closure system is used to ensure thermal bridging does not occur at window and door openings.

Inner door panels must be removed for door bars and roll cage, any sharp metal inside driver compartment must be ground off or bent over for driver protection.
If door panels must be flared to accommodate the support bars of cage then that width must be maintained until reaching the rear bumper.
