The Map was commissioned by South Dublin County Council as part of their In Context public art commissions.
The Office is situated south of Dublin City centre just off the South Circular Road in Dufferin Avenue and near the National Stadium,as can be seen by clicking the adjacent map.
Using the elements identified and the elements included in the SSD, the participants proceed to map these against the Dublin Core in order to asses its viability for the basis of the AHDS catalogue.

This report covers metadata and search engines, including new resources such as XML and RDF metadata, the Dublin Core NISO standard, Adobe XMP metadata within files, and topic maps.
The toolkit is designed not only to import XTM files, but to be capable of processing any kind of markup which contains inherent topic map information, such as NewsML, DocBook, RDF with Dublin Core, if the appropriate processing model is provided.
Strategies to map other metadata schemas to the requisite Dublin Core are essential to cleanly and accurately present metadata from a variety of communities.
