Dues The annual dues shall be set, with the restrictions set out below, by a majority vote of the Executive Board, but no change in the amount of dues shall apply until the fiscal year following that in which dues are set.
The Association is funded through membership dues and profit from the annual conferences that it sponsors, so your membership is vital to the continuation of this support organization.
Section 1: Yearly Dues Yearly membership dues and an initiation fee will be determined by the Board of Directors and may be modified from time to time.

A member who transfers to another state society and has paid annual dues in the state society from which the transfer is being made shall not be required to pay additional dues for the year of transfer and shall automatically become member of the state society to which transferred for the remainder of the year.
The annual dues for this Association shall be set by the Board of Directors for all classes of membership, and shall be paid in advance by all members in accordance with a schedule approved by the Board.
The total yearly dues collected from each member shall be the sum of the State Association Dues, below, and the Chapter dues as set forth in each Chapter's bylaws.

We will OPPOSE legislation to narrow the scope of bargaining for public workers or to restrict the use of union dues for organized advocacy on behalf of union members.
