Representatives from several area gay rights organizations [ correction: several of the groups in the coalition are not specifically GLBT organizations, but all are GLBT-supportive ] will announce today the reasons behind their decision not to participate in a public forum concerning the Fargo-Moorhead Family YMCA’s family membership policy.
Members of a Moorhead gay community center will not attend tonight’s forum held by the Fargo-Moorhead Family YMCA because they do not feel it is a “safe or healthy environment” for them to express their views.
